Disodium Ethanoldiglycinate (EDGNA2)

Description

VERSENE HEIDA chelating agent is an aqueous solution of disodium ehtanoldiglycine which is readily biodegradable. It is particularly useful for Chelation of iron in mildly alkaline solutions – pH 6.5 – 9.5. EDG is also a good calcium sequestrant. Passes OECD biodegradability tests: 301B, 301D, 301F, 302F, 302A and 302B. The only APCA chelant that passes stringent OECD 306 test.
