Triethanolamine
Description
TEA is a family of ethanolamines. Ethanolamines combine the properties of amines and alcohols. They exhibit the unique capability of undergoing reactions common to both groups. As amines, they are mildly alkaline and react with acids to form salts or soaps. As alcohols, they are hygroscopic and can be esterified.
TEA can be used in wide range of application such as cleaning, personal care, adhesive, agrochemical, adhesive, ink, oil well, metal working, construction, rubber and textile.
